1. Status and scope
These draft terms cover the Str8n application operated by Str8shift Digital. They do not govern web-design, marketing, or other agency services offered on the separate Str8shift Digital website.
No person accepts these terms merely by viewing this draft. Account creation and paid checkout must remain closed until the final terms are approved, published, and presented at the correct point in the account and purchase flows.
2. What Str8n provides
Str8n turns reporting, official records, and public online signals into geographically placed, source-linked dossiers, briefs, and bounded AI analysis. The service may update, correct, expire, merge, or remove dossiers as evidence changes.
Str8n is not a substitute for emergency alerts, professional financial, legal, medical, safety, or investment advice, or direct review of the cited source. News and automated analysis can be incomplete, delayed, disputed, or wrong. Users remain responsible for decisions made from the information.
3. Accounts and eligibility
Str8n uses one-time email links rather than passwords. A user is responsible for controlling access to the email account and device used to sign in, and for reporting suspected unauthorized use.
Public signup is closed. The owner must approve each account before it can use the newsroom. Authentication or a paid subscription alone does not grant access. Account deletion and subscription cancellation remain available if newsroom access is revoked. The minimum age, parental-consent approach, supported countries, and any organizational-use rules remain to be selected; this draft does not invent them.
4. Free and planned Pro service
For owner-approved accounts, Free includes dossiers, the globe, the daily brief, source receipts, and standard analysis. Pro adds a customizable AI Lens and more specific cited conversation. Neither tier makes the private newsroom publicly accessible.
The planned web price is $20 USD per month. Stripe will show the binding price and renewal details before any purchase, and Pro activates only after server verification. Final cancellation, renewal, tax, refund, trial, and price-change language still requires owner and counsel approval. This draft does not authorize a charge.
5. Acceptable use

Do not bypass authentication, paywalls, rate limits, source access controls, or other technical safeguards.

Do not submit malware, instructions intended to override the AI's fixed source and safety rules, or content that violates another person's rights.

Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, or use Str8n to harass, deceive, or cause harm.

Do not treat public-social volume as proof, strip source attribution, or present an inferred or headquarters location as a verified event site.
6. Sources, copyright, and product rights
Publishers, public agencies, creators, and social-platform users retain their rights in source material. A Str8n citation or link does not mean Str8n owns, endorses, or has licensed the full article, photograph, video, post, or database.
Str8n may display public metadata, publisher-supplied feed or API excerpts, bounded quotations where permitted, and links back to sources. Users receive no right through Str8n to copy or redistribute third-party full text or media. The final product license for Str8n's own interface, software, and original dossier presentation remains subject to owner and counsel approval.
7. AI, corrections, and service changes
AI preferences may change emphasis, depth, horizon, and source priority. They may not remove citations, convert uncertainty into fact, or make source text an instruction. Generated scenarios are possibilities, not promises.
To report a factual, location, source, rights, or privacy concern, email contact@str8shift.com with the dossier or source URL and the issue. Str8n may correct, relabel, restrict, or withdraw material while a concern is assessed.
Features, source availability, usage limits, and service access may change. Any suspension or termination rules affecting paid access must be stated in the final terms before billing opens.
8. Legal terms still requiring approval
The accountable legal party, notice address, governing law, dispute process, warranty language, liability limits, indemnity, export restrictions, takedown procedure, and survival clauses have not been approved. They are deliberately not fabricated here.
A final agreement should be reviewed for every place Str8n is offered and must remain consistent with the live product, checkout, app-store rules, Privacy Policy, and Data Retention Policy.
